You map every detour before you take a step. Add enough and it becomes the maze you were trying to avoid.
We remember every red light and forget every green. The tally's lopsided. We're still angry at something that already changed.
Small slights rack up points while quiet wins barely register. The scoreboard's broken. We're tracking a game no one else is playing.
