You yank at the knot and it tightens.
So you pull harder. Teeth clenched.
Now it's worse.
Every difficult thing works this way.
The more force you throw at it the more it resists.
We call it persistence.
It's just frustration that hasn't quit yet.
The knot doesn't care how annoyed you are.
It responds to one thing only. Slack.
Loosen the grip. Give it room to breathe.
Suddenly the tangle has space to move.
All that effort.
And the answer was to let go.
