It dresses itself up as motivation.
It pretends the pause is over before it’s had a chance to work.
These days sit in between.
Not quite holiday. Not quite normal.
They’re a buffer the year quietly gives you.
There’s no prize for restarting first.
No reward for dragging momentum forward before it’s ready.
Some rest only counts if you let it finish.
The grind can wait.
