You sit down to find peace.
Close your eyes. Straighten the spine. Follow the breath.
All that effort to get somewhere quiet.
But meditation isn't building calm from nothing.
It's clearing what's in the way.
We layer so much on top of stillness.
Noise. Plans. The constant hum of what's next.
And then we wonder why peace feels so far.
You don't create stillness.
You just stop burying it.
